Project R.E.S.T. Opens New Administrative Office in Spartanburg, Welcomes Community for Ribbon Cutting Celebration
Project R.E.S.T. thanks all community members, partners, and supporters who attended its Open House and ribbon cutting celebration on May 12, 2026. The event marked an important milestone for the organization as it officially moved into its new Lynn Hawkins Administrative Office and welcomed guests from across Spartanburg County and the Upstate. OneSpartanburg, Inc. led the ribbon cutting ceremony in recognition of the occasion, joined by city and county representatives, law enforcement partners, board members, and community stakeholders. Project R.E.S.T. will continue to make strategic decisions that protect long-term sustainability while ensuring uninterrupted delivery of critical services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The organization expressed deep gratitude for the continued encouragement and support of the community.
“This new office is more than a building, it is a reflection of Project R.E.S.T. ‘s continued investment in the future of survivor services in Spartanburg, Union and Cherokee Counties. As we mark 30 years of impact, we remain committed to adapting, growing, and ensuring that every survivor who turns to us is met with dignity, compassion, and support. We are honored by the trust our community places in us and grateful for the many partners who stand beside us in this mission.” ~ Krystal Watson, Esq., President & CEO, Project R.E.S.T.
