Each October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Project R.E.S.T., in partnership with Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, hosts the annual Inter-Personal Violence (IPV) Conference. This full-day educational event brings together victim advocates, judges, attorneys, law enforcement officers, social workers, mental health clinicians, forensic nurses, clergy, educators, and other professionals committed to preventing interpersonal violence and supporting survivors.

Event Details

Through expert keynote presentations and continuing education sessions, attendees gain practical, trauma-informed knowledge on topics including domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, mental health, victims’ rights, and the legal and investigative process. Designed for frontline professionals, the conference equips participants with the latest best practices to provide compassionate, ethical, and effective support while helping minimize re-traumatization and improve outcomes for survivors.
