Project R.E.S.T.’s Inaugural Denim & Daffodils Event Was a Success
Project R.E.S.T. was honored to host its inaugural Denim & Daffodils Luncheon at The Clevedale Historic Inn & Gardens, welcoming a full house of supporters for a meaningful spring gathering in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and Denim Day 2026.
Held in honor of Denim Day (April 29), the Denim & Daffodils Luncheon created space to take a visible stand against victim-blaming, raise awareness about sexual violence, and show solidarity with survivors across our community.
Thanks to the generosity of our guests and supporters, the event raised over $5,000 in support of services for survivors of sexual assault.

Dr. Sarah Wright shared a powerful perspective on the psychological impact of sexual assault, the importance of early and meaningful conversations, and how to respond with care when someone trusts us with their story.
