A New Chapter of Play and Inclusion
We’re excited to share that the playground at our shelter has officially been upgraded! This revitalization project focused on creating a more welcoming, beautiful, and engaging space for the children we serve—one that encourages joy, healing, and a sense of normalcy during difficult times.
A Fresh Look, A Renewed Purpose
What was once a basic play area has been thoughtfully enhanced. Updates include refreshed landscaping, a fresh coat of paint on the playground equipment, the addition of new play activities, and a new ramp and sidewalk for safer, easier access. These changes have helped transform the space into a brighter, more joyful environment where kids can simply be kids.
Committed to Accessibility for All
The addition of an ADA-compliant ramp and sidewalk from the shelter makes the playground more accessible for children and families who rely on mobility support. This improvement reflects our broader commitment to creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, safe, and seen.
