Project R.E.S.T. Marks Domestic Violence Awareness Month with Community Events

Project R.E.S.T., a Spartanburg-based nonprofit dedicated to restoring, empowering, supporting, and transforming those affected by domestic and sexual violence, will host and attend a series of events throughout October to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with survivors.

One of the month’s highlights is the 20th Anniversary of the Interpersonal Violence (IPV) Conference, a cornerstone of our community’s efforts to prevent violence and promote healing. The conference will be held on Friday, October 17, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM at First Baptist North Spartanburg.

A Day Without Project R.E.S.T.

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, this video illustrates the critical role Project R.E.S.T. plays in supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Without our services, countless individuals would lose access to life-saving advocacy, legal assistance, emergency shelter, and resources that help them rebuild their lives.

Your contribution helps ensure survivors have access to the care and resources they need. Donate today to stand with those affected by domestic and sexual violence.
